How to cook akhni polao

Bengali food lover. They love to eat special food at different festivals. And a few days after Eid. This Eid you can cook akhni polao, a well-known traditional dish.

Akhni polao is very easy to cook. Know the recipe and cook.

Everything you need to cook: 1 kg basmati rice, 1 cup cauliflower pieces, 1/2 cup peas, 1/2 cup carrot paste, 5 tablespoons ghee, 1 tablespoon onion paste, 5 green chilli slices, 2 prunes, cardamom Cinnamon, cloves and bay leaves 2, turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon, salt to taste, ginger 1/2 teaspoon, garlic paste 1 teaspoon, nutmeg powder a little, condensed milk 1 cup, coriander leaves 1 tablespoon, Fried almonds 1/2 cup, keora water 1/2 teaspoon.

How to make

1) First take a small amount of water in a large pan or pan and add cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, bay leaves and ginger. When the water boils very well, turn off the stove. Akhni polao will be cooked with this fragrant water.

2) On the other hand, put ghee in a large pot, add onion, turmeric powder, garlic paste and salt and mix well.

3) Then add cauliflower, peas and carrots and add a little more spice. Cook over medium heat.

4) Strain the hot spices from the boiling water and keep that water separate. Add rice with seasoning and boil with that water.

5) Cover with a lid and cook for a while. Once the lid is opened, add a cup of condensed milk, prunes and green chilli slices.

6) If the rice is a little hard, you can shake it with a splash of water and put it again with the lid.

6) Now after keeping it down for a while, spread nutmeg powder, coriander leaves and a little ghee and take it down. Then garnish with fried almonds and serve hot.
